Apple Nachos

by Candice

Ditch the pumpkin spice lattes this fall and replace it with apple nachos instead. Don’t get me wrong, I do love a good pumpkin spice latte, but each fall everything is pumpkin spice and it’s starting to become a little overrated.

Firstly, I find apples to be very underrated during the fall season.

Secondly, there are so many types of desserts that can be made with apples aside from a typical pie, crisp or apple cider donuts.

Thirdly, I noticed this year Starbucks has introduced a couple of drinks with apple in it. The Iced Apple Crisp Oat Milk Macchiato is really delicious!

Introducing the Apple Nachos

I love eating apples with peanut butter, or tossing them in a salad. However this time, I wanted to create a dessert with this fruit that is easy to make and doesn’t require any baking.

These nachos are really easy to make and you most likely have all the ingredients in your pantry. This recipe is a choose your own adventure type of dessert.

Honeycrisp and Granny Smith work best here in my opinion, but feel free to use any apple you like.

For the toppings, I chose to go with peanut butter, sugar free caramel syrup, chocolate chips, granola and shredded coconut.

This recipe is very customizable you can use whatever toppings you’d like. If you are allergic to nuts use a nut free butter, or omit the butter entirely. Feel free to add honey or maple syrup as a natural sweetener.

If you make this, please let me know how it comes out! And be sure to check out more recipes as I have a ton of fall recipes to share with you along with some more fun interior design updates coming soon! (Hint, next project will be painting the entire condo along with some fun wallpaper!)
