Life Lately July 2026
Life Lately July 2026
June was such a fun month for me. I spent a lot of time relaxing at the beach, soaking up the sun, listening to the waves, and just enjoying slow, easy days by the water. One of the highlights was a road trip to Pittsburgh and I even brought Nala! This month reminded me that you don’t have to travel far to have meaningful experiences—just a mix of beach days, road trips, and time with the people you love can make a summer feel really full and memorable.

Currently Eating
I’ve been eating plenty of juicy peaches and sweet plums as summer fruit came into season, along with flavorful tacos for easy weeknight dinners and protein-packed quinoa salads for healthy lunches. I’ve also been cutting down on the caffeine and exploring different cuisines such as Turkish food.

Currently Watching
I’ve been watching Gilmore Girls and Age of Attraction, and counting down the days until House of Stassi premieres this month. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen Stassi on tv and cannot wait for her show! She’s come a long way since her VPR days.
Life Behind the Scenes
One of the highlights of my month was taking a road trip to Pittsburgh to celebrate my brother’s residency graduation. Lately, I’ve also been making a very intentional effort to step back from social media and be more present in my day-to-day life. Putting my phone down more has helped me slow down, actually take in the moments I’m living, and enjoy time with the people I care about without feeling the pressure to post everything. It’s been a really grounding shift for me and a nice reminder that some of the best memories are the ones you just live through, not share online.
Nala
This month was extra special because I took Nala on her very first road trip to Pittsburgh, and she handled the adventure so much better than I expected. Traveling with a cat comes with its own set of challenges, but seeing her settle into a new environment made the trip even more memorable. As if that wasn’t enough excitement, I’m also getting ready to celebrate Nala turning seven in July. It’s hard to believe how quickly the years have flown by, and I’m looking forward to spoiling her with plenty of treats, toys, and extra cuddles for her birthday.
