Welcome back to Life Lately, the June edition! I am excited to recap what I’ve been up to in May and share my plans for June 2025 and life behind the scenes.
Life Lately June 2025
April showers continues to shower into May, this entire month has been gloomy, dreary days filled with clouds covering the beautiful sky. Luckily, May is the perfect kickoff into summer and I am so excited to eventually have some sunshine gracing my window, not sure about the disgusting summer heat.
It’s been a bit slower here on the blog due to my severe writer’s block, however I would never miss a Life Lately post! It’s my favorite series on the blog and my personal diary into my life.
Currently Eating
I have been on a massive egg bite kick, I’ve been making different variations of it at home and it tastes so much better than Starbucks!
As summer is right around the corner I’m looking to use less of my oven and take full advantage of the summer fruit that’s about to be in season. My all time favorite summer fruit are peaches and they pair so well with sweet and savory dishes!
I also love making sandwiches, they’re so easy to make and easy to take on the go. My latest obsession are Hawaiian rolls, I’ve been eating them non-stop, adding pineapple juice into these rolls was the right move!
Currently Watching
I recently started watching Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders making the team and have already watched the documentary on Netflix. With the second season coming out soon, I wanted to go back and watch the original reality show they had dating back to 2006. It’s been so fun to watch and reality tv was definitely a lot different then than it is now.
The third season of Ginny & Georgia is also coming out this month and I’m excited to see what Georgia’s fate will be.
Life Behind the Scenes
I’ve been spending a lot of time exploring local parks near me, with the weather getting warmer out I’m trying to force myself to get out of the house and just move my body.
This month is also filled with some travel, I’ll be in Virginia and San Diego towards the end of June. I’m excited to go back to California and you know the first stop when I land will be In N’ Out! I haven’t had In N’ Out since January 2024.
Nala
Nala is doing well as always. With the rainy weather, she hasn’t been able to see her favorite birds and squirrels in the morning. However as a backup, I always let her watch videos of birds and squirrels on YouTube.
She also loves sleeping on my lap with her favorite pillow, she also oddly loves sleeping on top of my laptop (must be from the heat) and waking me up in the middle of the night. Her favorite place to sleep at night is in my bed, in between my legs, she let’s it be known that it’s her bed and she’s allowing me to sleep in it.
