I recently renovated the main bathroom in my house and I am so excited to reveal the photos of what it looks like now, but before we get into that, let’s take a look at what we were dealing with before.
Main Bathroom: Before
I forgot to take photos of what the main bathroom looked like before, however it was the exact same as my other bathroom. This is what the main bathroom looked like after my contractor finished demolishing everything.
The only two things I kept from the old bathroom were the mirror and sconces.
Main Bathroom Reveal: After
I opted for a blue backsplash tile to complement the black and white checkered tiles and kept it simple with a white vanity with gold fixtures and also opted for a glass shower door with gold fixtures as well. This bathroom renovation took about 3-4 weeks to complete due to a leaking pipe and having to redo the whole plumbing, but overall it was completely worth it and now I love my new bathroom!
Materials Used
All the materials used for this bathroom renovation were mostly from Home Depot except the vanity which I purchased on Amazon.
Firstly, I love color expression through interior design. I like homes that have colors and use colors when it’s appropriate. Bathrooms are actually the perfect room to play with color. You can go the dark and moody route by using bold wallpaper or you can have it be whimsical or light and airy.
The options for design truly are endless. If you are in the process of renovating a bathroom or any room in your house, I encourage you to use colors and different patterns as it breathes life into a new space.
