Meet Nala, My Sweet & Sassy Kitty

Nala is my sweet and sassy kitty that I adopted back in March 2021. She recently turned three years old on July 17th and it has been such a joy having her in my life!

Some Fun Facts About Nala

1. She loves birds and squirrels. Every morning and throughout the day she is constantly looking out the window eager to talk to her birdie friends and makes the cutest chirping sound.
2. She loves feather toys and more recently playing with jewelry.
3. She HATES being picked up, but loves riding around in her stroller.
4. She loves when you rub her ears.
5. She enjoys her alone time and usually sleeps throughout the day when she isn’t talking to her birdie friends.

I have always wanted a cat since I was young and after doing a ton of research on caring for cats, I decided it was the right time for me to adopt and lo and behold Nala came into my life. Nala is such an easy low maintenance cat. If you are ever hesitant in adopting a puppy, get a cat! Cats are so smart and intuitive and also very affectionate!

Nala is a very curious kitty and is always exploring new nooks and cranny around the house, and she is also very food curious. Here’s a picture of Nala investigating a bowl of peanuts, I promise she didn’t eat any. While she’s very curious about human food, she definitely prefers her wet food over a bowl of peanuts any day.

Nala tends to be a late night snacker often eating her dinner around midnight. I am hoping in the future to adopt another cat for Nala to have a sibling to play with.
