I am sharing my jewelry and accessories collection as it isn’t much (or what I think isn’t much.) I find that accessories help make or break an outfit and adds a pop of shine. You will find a bit of everything including:
- Earrings
- Necklaces
- Rings
- Hair Ties, Bows & Headbands
- Hats & Scarves
- Purses
Earrings are my favorite type of jewelry, I don’t usually wear necklaces, rings or bracelets that often however earrings are a different story. I like earrings that are light on the ears and are not heavy, I mostly prefer stud earrings because it’s so easy to put on and hard to fall off, I’m a huge believer in always adding the back to the earring to prevent it from falling!
Nala has more of an obsession with jewelry than I do, especially for necklaces. I like to neatly store all my jewelry and earrings in a jewelry organizer tucked away in my closet. Most of my jewelry and accessories are old, I’ve had them for over a decade so I won’t be able to link anything.
Jewelry & Accessories Collection
When I was in middle school, I had an obsession with Claire’s like other teens, their earrings were my favorite part of the store and still are to this day. I haven’t actually purchased earrings in a while and like to keep my accessories minimal. I prefer my outfit to be the star of the show and have my accessories be a supporting role.
A classic piece I always like to have are pearl earrings and a simple pearl necklace, pearls are so timeless and adds a vintage element.
The cats pictured above are these cute iron on patches that I found on etsy, you just iron it on to your clothes and it adds such a cute and quirky element to your outfit.
As for hair, I usually always wear my hair up in a plain black scrunchie or wear it down with a bow or a headband. Bows are becoming incredibly trendy right now and while it’s nice bows are making a comeback, I just hope it doesn’t become overdone. For the past few years, I’ve noticed headbands are increasingly becoming chunkier and while I love a good headband, I only really need one. I like to keep my hats, scarves and hair accessories minimal because I work from home and most days I usually just have my hair up in a ponytail.
